I'm trying to grow this flower from seed, and I'd love some advice. Does anyone know how to plant this hydrangea seed?
This is something new for me, so I'm a bit nervous about how challenging it might be. I'm sure it'll be great, though, and I'll try my best to pay attention so the little seeds have a good, proper start.
I haven't had the chance to try it out, and I'm not sure if there are any online stores that sell the seeds.
It might be a bit of a challenge since not many folks sell the seeds of this plant, but I'm here to help! You can collect the seeds by waiting for the flowers to turn brown, then gently cutting the stems and placing them in a paper bag to dry. After about a week, give the bag a good shake to release the seeds. The seeds look like small black pepper spots, so you can easily spot them. Then, sow the seeds and place the plant in a cool, well-drained spot. Wait for the seeds to grow roots, and then you can move them into a container or wherever you want to grow them permanently.
